To improve the economic, social and political status of all women; to encourage our members to further their education/training and maintain a progressive interest in the values of humanity; to promote refinement and culture; to establish and maintain a better relationship among women of all races and creeds and to be of greater service to our community, our country and to each other.

Organization Purpose

Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. provides opportunities for women to work and serve on local, regional and national levels.

Members enjoy their time together as they work together on various projects. Developing positive relationships and creating new friendships helps us grow individually and makes our organization that much stronger.

Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. is an excellent vehicle to build positive relationships with women with similar aspirations throughout the United States and internationally.

How we accomplish our mission

We operate at the National, Regional and Chapter level under our Five-Point MEEPS Program:

We work directly with youth through our youth auxiliaries and sponsor our annual 'Artists of Tomorrow' program to highlight the talents of youth throughout the community.

Scholarships are awarded on National, Regional and Chapter levels.

We support a variety of charities, as directed by National, and perform local chapter charitable activities such as volunteering at hospitals, senior housing complexes and public schools; tutoring, being pen pals, holding baby showers for local teen pregnancy programs, adopting families, conducting back-to-school supplies and backpack drives and a host of other charitable activities.

Members are encouraged to pursue personal and professional development, as well as leadership training.
